New Riva 96′ Argo Super: Stylistic Elegance in Dialogue with the Sea

The launch of the first Riva 96′ Argo Super, at Riva’s La Spezia shipyard where the brand builds its 70 to 130-foot models, was attended by Ferretti Group CEO Stassi Anastassov and the designers of Officina Italiana Design, who shaped the new yacht together with the Strategic Product Committee and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department.

With a length overall of 28.79 metres and a maximum beam of 6.50 metres, the 96′ Argo Super pairs a refined Aluminium livery with Bright Black details and a series of major layout innovations. The aft and beach areas have been redesigned for closer contact with the water: the garage door now incorporates a sunpad and opens to reveal the Williams 435 tender and jet ski, while the swim platform’s lift mechanism makes getting into the water easier and safer. The cockpit gains extra storage compartments, a built-in refrigerator and adjustable sofa backrests, and the flybridge adds a new bar unit and mahogany-topped tables.

The most significant change is the introduction of a day head on the main deck, freeing up space for a full-beam master suite with expansive glazing and sea views even from the bed, and for a salon that, on this first unit, places the dining area aft and the lounge forward. On the lower deck, the extra space creates a full-beam VIP cabin comparable in comfort and size to a second master suite, as part of a standard three-guest-cabin layout (or, as an option, four cabins, with three VIP cabins plus a twin guest cabin).

The interiors combine polished wengé wood with pale matt oak, mirrored surfaces and polished steel details. Power comes from a pair of MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines, each producing 2,000 HP, supported by Seakeeper NG18 and NG10 gyroscopic stabilisers, the Watchit collision prevention system, Xenta’s X-AID manoeuvring aid and virtual anchor system, and a stern thruster.

The first Riva 96′ Argo Super will make her official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
