With her full-wide body, the signature of this futuristic spaceship is the vast owner’s suite in the bow, which seems to hang over the water below. Wally has expertly engineered a strip of tall glass running all the way around the main deck, giving the cabin 270-degree panoramic views and astonishing natural light. She measures 27.03 metres in length, with a 7.66-metre beam and a 2.1-metre draft.<\/p>\n
Her high 4.7-metre bow is part of a hull form studied in minute detail to provide stability, eliminate slamming and still deliver semi-displacement performance. Renowned naval architects Laurent Giles developed the design specifically for this yacht, which was exhaustively tank-tested in Southampton. Combined with Volvo IPS pod propulsion, the wallywhy200 cruises at 20 knots and reaches 23 knots flat out with the optional enhanced power package.<\/p>\n
The design is breathtaking, with elegant teak decking and steps that cascade down to the beach club aft, extended by side wings and a hydraulic bathing platform that doubles as a passerelle. A 4.15-metre tender and other toys are garaged invisibly behind the wings. The enormous upper deck is presided over by Wally’s signature glass-and-carbon dome, while the lower deck hosts a luxurious VIP suite and two dazzling guest cabins. An eye-catching carbon-fibre staircase connects all decks, laminated in a single piece to provide structural support and eliminate bulkheads, creating open entertaining spaces that blend seamlessly with the exterior. The layout features 4 cabins plus 3 crew cabins as standard, with 4 bathrooms plus 2 in the crew quarters, accommodating 20 people on board.<\/p>\n
With the optional package of Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines of 1,000 hp each, the wallywhy200 reaches a top speed of 23 knots and cruises at 20 knots, with a range of 370 nautical miles. A winning combination of design, technology and performance, true to every Wally model.<\/p>\n
