The exterior styling, by Vallicelli Design, and the interiors, created by IdeaeItalia, reinterpret the distinctive elements of the Itama tradition, giving shape to a new balance between sportiness, elegance and comfort.

In keeping with “Made in Italy” style and the sporty lines typical of Itama, the exterior design interprets the brand’s heritage through a contemporary lens, introducing aesthetic and functional solutions that define the yacht’s personality, including aligning the gunwale with the sheer line, shifting the junction between the hull and deck to the highest part of the hull. The line takes on a convex longitudinal profile that sweeps from bow to stern, expanding the deck spaces, particularly forward. The profile is also characterised by the side windows running along the hull, first introduced on the Itama 54, and the transom, which harmoniously follows the angle of the stem, creating an elegant and dynamic silhouette.

On the main deck, the spacious stern platform accommodates a 3.25-metre tender, with access to the cockpit via a two-section door. At the stern, a large sun pad, an iconic Itama feature, connects directly to the U-shaped dining area with a teak-top table; to starboard, the wet bar is fitted with a sink and fridge, customisable with an ice maker, grill or hob, and can be transformed, on request, into a chaise longue. An electric bimini top protects this area from the sun, with optional side panels and aft extension. The helm station, to port, offers excellent visibility and seating for three, with two 12-inch touchscreens (upgradable to 16-inch) and SIMRAD navigation systems. Access to the foredeck is central and fully separate from the companionway to the lower deck, with a spacious forward sun pad in the style of the Itama 54.

The lower deck brings together a galley, a dinette, three cabins and three bathrooms on a single, step-free floor level, with large windows and portholes letting in natural light. The owner’s cabin is positioned aft, with a centrally placed bed and port-side access to the private master bathroom. Forward are the dinette, with an L-shaped sofa and extending table, and a fully equipped corner galley with a television of up to 55 inches. Two further en-suite guest cabins complete the lower deck: a VIP cabin in the bow and a guest cabin to port with a queen-size bed and the option of a pullman berth, its bathroom doubling as a dayhead. On request, a single crew cabin with its own bathroom, accessible from the aft sun pad, is also available, or the space can be fitted out as storage. The interiors echo the exterior’s style code through simple, refined materials such as leather and wood, with a choice of warm date tones or fresher shades of blue.

Itama 70 is fitted with twin MAN V12 engines. The standard version, with two 1,400 HP engines, delivers a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots; the optional version, with two 1,550 HP engines, delivers a top speed of 39 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots (preliminary data). The yacht is fitted with state-of-the-art technology, including the XENTA electro-hydraulic steering system, which can be equipped with a manoeuvring joystick, XENTA trim tabs and thrusters (stern thrusters optional), and the option of a Seakeeper NG14 gyroscopic stabiliser.

At Consulyachts, with offices at the Marina of Cascais and Vilamoura, we follow every new Itama development with enthusiasm.
