The third unit of the Pershing 108 has descended into the water, rewarding the commitment of all the Mondolfo production shipyard workers and of the Pershing quay too, who, due to the marine weather conditions, had to pay the utmost attention during the travel lift movement and launch operations.
During these weeks on board this fantastic three-engine vessel, the interior furnishings and non-structural décor will be completed. The interior of the new maxi yacht has been entirely customized by the Owner, who was assisted in every design stage by Ferretti Group’s architects and designers, to create a ship that fully reflects his style and aesthetic taste.
At the same time, technical testing will be carried out on the new vessel, on the systems, and all the control and infotainment software will be checked, in addition to the performance trials.
These tests - carried out with the utmost care by Pershing’s engineers and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department - are extremely important for a brand such as Pershing, which for 30 years has made technological and engine performance, as well as constant product innovation, its mission to guide its future.
After the official delivery to the European Owner, the new Pershing 108 is ready to plough the waters of the Mediterranean, its thrilling beauty embellishing the most captivating views of the European seas.
Pershing 108:
The Pershing 108, from its very first appearances, has surprised and impressed owners and enthusiasts over the world, thanks to its extraordinary mix of versatility, innovation and technology, which makes it a maxi yacht that’s ahead of its time.
The result of collaboration between yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department’s team of engineers, architects and designers, it’s a perfect sample of the brand’s DNA, where a versatile layout - which can be completely personalized in terms of décor by the Owner - is paired with the most innovative on-board technology.
The concept of on-board personalization is a good fit for the supple, distinctive lines that characterize the yachts of the Pershing fleet: aggressive profile, extensive use of glazing on the sides and - naturally - peerless performance.
The Pershing 108 is a truly state-of-the-art maxi yacht, also in terms of its propulsion system, divided into three engine for the first time, with the aim of guaranteeing great performance and with environmental impact in mind. In the shipyard version, the Pershing 108 has three MTU 2638 mHp (1939 kW) 16V 2000 M 94 L diesel engines and, thanks to its three surface propellers, it may achieve a top speed of more than 42 knots.
The Pershing 108 can manage high travel ranges, exceeding 1000 miles at 10 knots and with very limited consumption at these speeds. With only the central engine running, this yacht can be very quiet at low speeds.
In the absence of high load conditions, it can plane even with just two engines and reach speeds worthy of note. Generally speaking, extremely high levels of comfort have been measured on board. Translated into DbA, this means a new benchmark for this yacht category.
Highly significant performance meets the “family feeling” that over the years has made all the models in the Pershing fleet unique and recognisable.
The Pershing 108, 32.90 m long, has 4 guest cabins and 3 dedicated to the crew, and offers customers the possibility of choosing from various interior layouts, with a view to providing even more versatile, customized spaces.
